Hue Studio App Reviews

I have 26 hue lights, and so far, this is the worst app I have come across. The bugs that were claimed as fixed certainly still remain, in my household. Under Settings, while attempting to program which lights I wish to be involved, as soon as I scroll down the list, and out of view of the beginning of the list, all previous selections become spontaneously deselected, as well as random light selections taking place on their own. Infuriatingly, not 1 of the lights responds under the correct description. For example, if I select "Left Pendant", I will get the Right Pendant light. Or, if I select "Right Pendant", I will inexplicably get the Center Pendant to respond. Very poor app and a waste of $2.99.

I liked this app with its attractive and outstanding interface! Please add more effects!

I downloaded this because it had 11 ratings/4 stars. A day later, it went down to 5 reviews?? It didnt work from my iPad Air, nor my iPhone 6. Thunder and lightening mode, for example, make noise and change color on the iPhones LCD itself but nothing happens to any of the 3 Hue bulbs from my starter kit which it detected immediately on both Apple devices. Meanwhile the standard Philips Hue app worked right away, given it has a more limited feature set. So I know it is not a Hue malfunction. Support website claims to have a button called Get Immediate Help, or something to that effect, but I saw no such button. The only Help link that pops up is from Wordpress and shows one how to fix their simplistic Wordpress website. Id steer clear, despite the success these other 4/5 people are talking about in their reviews. Just go to the developer website. If they actually throw ANY content up there in their forums or support sections, than maybe its worth a shot.

Unless I am sitting in the room where the bridge is located, the lights do absolutely nothing. Still reaming over the original APP being discontinued. Which all these apps should be free for paying what we do for the bulbs/kits. Waste of time and money

Great performance and neat interface. The thunder effect is the one.

Have been using this app for a couple of month now. Strobe works unbelievable fast which makes it irreplaceable for home parties. Can see no alternatives to it so far

This app is awesome! Great tool to group Hue bulbs. Its so easy to control my bulbs on first and second floor now! Could you add more effects please?

The latest updates add some great features and now this app is amazing. It strobes quick and the thunder effect is my favourite one!

It worked just fine after I installed and pressed button on Hue Bridge once when required. The app is my favourite one which I mostly use for home parties. Great tech support and spectacular performance!

Does thunderstorms reasonably well. Could be better with user variables. Does strobe well. Candles need work as does the UI. Dear developer. Please buy competitive Apps and model them to bring this App up to speed. Thx

use mostly for my home parties and romantic meetings! can easily group bulbs into one meaningful name. thunder effect is the one to surprise the guests.

Wont do anything but crash every time I open the app. Deleted and re-installed 3 times with same results. Refund please!

The app is good. Had trouble for a minute until realized that iPhone is not connected to wi-fi. After reading faq page, finally was able to use all its features for my 30+ bulbs.

I have downloaded, deleted, downloaded, deleted and repeat yet it still doesnt stay open for more than 5 seconds... I read thru the trouble shooting and it suggested the above but it hasnt worked. Suggestions??

If you own the hue lights this app is a must get it.
